Could You, For Me?

We layed on the couch; an awkward feeling lingered in the air. Siran hadn't been himself lately, and - frankly - I was starting to fear for the relationship we shared.

The lamp and moonlight served more than enough light while I read - yet another - Nicholas Sparks book. After a few minutes, I realized his breaths started to slow. I peaked up from his chest in which my head was resting on and took note that his eyes were, indeed, shut.

I went back to reading, when all of a sudden his voice pierced the silence.
"Hey Ravine..." Siran asked (with a hint of nervousness)
"Yes?" I answered, drooping my hand with the book down off the couch to get a better look at him. His glossy silver eyes looked almost ghastly from the lighting. (Of course he didn't look back.)
"C- ... could you - maybe - read to me?"
His question took me off guard, and it took me a few seconds to process what he'd ask.
Quietly I told Siran, "Yes... Of course." I'd meant for my answer to be more affectionate, and the small smile that he was trying to hide on his muzzle proved I'd succeeded.

And so I read him my book, and I couldn't help but smiling the entire time. It sounded silly, I know, but Siran definitely had a different way of telling me he forgave me. Although guilt still ate at the bottom of my stomach, I knew things were looking up.

Bla okay I can't even tell you how many ffff'in hours I spent on this!!! FFFF and time FLEW! Like an hour seamed like a minute while I was drawing this. And I actually didn't intend at first to make it THIS detailed.. Amyway, I'm pretty proud with the outcome! I hope you are, too *ArvinDax!

I'm sorry for everything, and I realized what was going on, i know. But you'll always have a number one spot in my heart until the day I die. I just had this feeling that you aren't telling me that you're upset with me, and I'm not going to be blind this time. I'm sorry and I love you so much. Please take my apology?
